Hunthis Report post Posted January 16, 2009 Maybe someone did not like what i said. My post seems to not be here anymore. Anyways i will not say it again. The clean ups are great. The thing with hunters who care is it is a not for profit that is set up to do it. And it atracts eyes looking at hunters doing this. If it is just a group of guys running out and doing it than it is not as seen. I think it is important for others to see who is doing it. I agree that is why I contacted Gabe with AZ game and fish. My friends and I have been involved with the cleanups through Arizona hunters who care for many years. This site would be a good one for the media to be involved in. It's the worst I've seen in my 14 years of hunting the 36 units. This picture in only one area of the wash. There is trash down the wash for at least a mile. Joe Kauffman Report post Posted January 16, 2009 Hunthis, Add myself +2 to the list of cleanup volunteers. Whether in the Spring or like MidLifeHntr said, and organized cleanup on your own, I'll help donate bags and trailer needs. Joe Kauffman
MidLifeHntr Report post Posted January 16, 2009 Couesaz, how much press would you like? I can get tv and the paper out there. We can put an entire campaign together on this if needed.

CouesKilla Report post Posted January 17, 2009 When I see that kind of mess it makes my blood boil. I wish there was a way to make those who made the mess work to clean it up. It would be nice if BP could haul everyone they catch to some of these problem spots and require them to clean up for a few hours before they are sent back home. +1 Now there is a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ghost hunter Report post Posted January 19, 2009 Its always good to have "good press" opportunities. Local stations will run the story but since their customers are our neighbors (and they most likely already know about this) it really doesn't make much of an impact on Congress. But...if that pile of trash was found sitting on the steps to the Lincoln memorial or lying around the reflection pool, bet there would be lots of discussion on the immigration issue. After all, that is the cause of the problem. FWIW.
Rembrant Report post Posted January 20, 2009 I think it would be very nice to return the trash to Mexico. Kind of an international sharing program. Mike
Birddog Report post Posted January 20, 2009 I wonder what kind of press it would get if you dropped it off at the state capital

I actually like the idea of making the illegals clean the trash up before they go back. Amanda
