Kevin Report post Posted January 13, 2009 You are right about being hard to come by. I looked for one for years before I finally settled for a mod 58. Obviously I wanted the 41 but really wish it was stainless. Very nice handgun! Kevin
SO I HUNT Report post Posted January 13, 2009 It must be a hand Full
Kevin Report post Posted January 14, 2009 So I Hunt, by "hand full" do you mean big grip or recoil? The recoil isn't much different than my Mod 19 .357. The frame is slightly larger too but my wife shoots it one handed with no problems. Kevin
Stray Horse Report post Posted January 14, 2009 If you shoot some it's not much to control. Some police departments used to carry the .41. The name "magnum" turned off a police deptment in NM in the 60s or 70s. Others found it too much for the average officer. Did you know S&W doesn't make anything in .41 Remington Magnum now?
