jeffcros Report post Posted January 12, 2009 I hunted 22 this weekend and glasses up 17 deer on Sat and 27 on Sun. Sat it was 13 Whitey does 1 90" buck and a couple of muley does. Sun, one Whitey buck and 9 muley does and the rest whitey does. I have hunted this area for years and can't understand where all the bucks went. The two whitey bucks were trailing and never slowed down. As far as I could see them. One ran through a bunch of muley does and just kept going. Are these bucks just regrouping after the rut? I can't believe they just moved. I didn't see a pig in all the glassing I did, has anyone had better luck than me in 22. I didn't see a track in all the areas I've killed them in years previous . BowNut Report post Posted January 12, 2009 I have been hunting in 22 also. Not seeing many pigs were I had seen them while scouting. There was a lot of pressure opening weekend were I had spotted them a week before the season started. Even found were there was one if not more pigs were killed out of the herds I was watching.
