luvdemcoues Report post Posted January 12, 2009 That gun looks a little too high tech and pricey for me! My brother-in-law has never rifle hunted, only archery hunted. He now wants to start rifle hunting, but knows absolutely nothing about rifles. I am just partial to the WSM's and think they shoot great with factory rounds. Stray Horse Report post Posted January 12, 2009 For a first, and only rifle I'd go with a .270, .30-06 or some standard round. There's some good deals on rifles here.
