CouesWhitetail Report post Posted January 8, 2009 IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING 2009 FUR SALE: Due to problems in the wild fur markets and current instability at the present time, we have decided to postpone the January 31st sale. ATTENTION TRAPPERS ARIZONA TRAPPERS ASSOCIATION FUR SALE Tentative Date Change March 14, 2009 Gila County Fairgrounds, Globe CALL FUR MANAGER WITH FUR COUNTS TO DATE NO LATER THAN March 1st Bill Strauss: 480-375-1183 We have struggled to keep the sale going over the years as a service to everyone . Due to lack of Buyer Commitment & in hopes the buyers have orders to fill by this date we have rescheduled the sale. We have done this in an attempt to increase buyer participation and so you can get more for your furs. We ask that you please consider this when you sell your furs this year. Please support the ATA we work hard for trappers, do your part to keep the association going to help keep us in buisness. Show your gratitude by Supporting the Arizona Trappers Association. If there are any additional changes the Association will keep you posted. If the buyers do not have orders to fill by the end of February we may have to reexamine, so make sure you call Bill for any others news as well.
