Big Tub Report post Posted October 11, 2023 I have a pair and love them. Only issue is the weight. I subsequently got some of the new lightweight ZEISS 8x. I'm hesitant to use them so they stay in the case while I use the Genesis as I already scuffed up one of the lenses. They get thrown in the back seat for immediate use. I had to drill and tap the center barrel to accept a tripod adapter. Did they start making them usable with a tripod adapter? Good luck with the sale. johns Report post Posted October 11, 2023 I don't use them on a tripod, so I am not sure. They are a little heavier than some others, but I think that speaks to their quality. I have a Zeiss Conquest 10x42 and to my eyes the Kowa has a sharper image. If anyone is considering these, check out reviews online. They are very highly thought of. At $750 it is a great buy.
