firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted January 4, 2009 Try the 53 grain TSX. IF you are going to shoot this rifle for bobcats, you are fighting a loosing battle! The last dog I hit, I hit it with my 50 NBT's and he was DRT with perfect bullet performance.
Bucks_N_Yotes Report post Posted January 4, 2009 use 55gr vmax. I have killed alot of coyotes with it at differnt yards from 20 to 500. Great preformance. It does well with the bobcats as well. I have shot 4 with them and all have had little damage. Two others needed a little sowing.

Flash Report post Posted January 11, 2009 I shoot with several guys with a 250 and we have yet to find a bullet that does what you are looking for. Just a lot of gun, but a good one! My buddy just got a box of varmit grenades from Black Hills ammo and said it fragmented inside the dog he shot and was the first time he didn't have the exit hole. Not sure if they were made for predators, but worth a look.
