25-06 Report post Posted January 30, 2005 Thanks bowhunter4life, I looked at that site yesterday and they were all sold. But the good news is first thing this morning found a great deal on a german shorthair pointer and bought him He is 7 weeks old and named Tug (for tug-boat) one side of him has some spots that looks like smoke stacked from a tug-boat. Anyways to make a long story short I decided to get another german shorthair pointer...But still wouldn"t mind owning a hound some day

Red Rabbit Report post Posted January 31, 2005 25-06 Congrats on the young GSP. If the rain continues to early summer, the quail crop next year should be a much better one, with more young birds to find in the field. Have fun training Tug. This has been my second season with a German wire hair pointer for me, and I have had fun finding the few birds we've found. We went out yesterday near Sedona and busted a small covey of 5, got one. Sure is fun to watch your dog get birdy and go on point. Doug/RedRabbit
