Levis first dove

My boy and I have been going out before school the past couple days. Yesterday I asked if he wanted to try and shoot one and he didn't. Today, he got brave and decided to shoot the 12 gauge. He didn't mind it so we put our efforts into stalking a bird in a tree. He shot it, she retrieved it, and I couldn't be more proud of them both!

Not too bad when they are stationary in a tree! But, it was every bit of 40-45 yards!

Not that one, but he has eaten dove poppers from the opener and he liked them just fine.
