Fobbed Coues Deer

Recommended Posts

They only seem a little louder in flight as oppose to a vane because you are hearing compressed air out the back of the fob, down range they sound no different then a vane I have shot 2 coues deer a bobcat and a bear with them and none of the animals made any attempt to jump string due to noise all the shots have ranged from 25 60 yds. The website is very interesting and has alot of info about them there at Starrflight.com. Plus the gallery on the site is full of hunting success pics of animals all over the world.

I hear ya if you can get over the fact that they look like alot of b.s. and just try them and give them an honest shot I dont think a person will ever fletch again.

to be exact they weight 24 grains where as fletches weight about 15- 18 grns so i would have to say probably only a few fps. I have noticed longer distance shooting that they stabilize an arrow better in my opinion better down rage shooting.
