ichiban43 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 Given the escalation of crime out in the brush, I approached AZGFD about adding to the archery directive already in place, the addition of muzzleloader seasons and making them permanent. Go to the bottom of page 7--the last paragraph and review the proposed change and please make comments. For directions on making comments--go to the end of the page. There are also other proposed changes that I'm sure will interest you also. BOB You may access the proposed rule through the Department’s website, using the following link: http://www.azgfd.gov/inside_azgfd/rules/do...dRulemaking.pdf http://www.azgfd.gov/inside_azgfd/rules/ru...g_updates.shtml
CouesKilla Report post Posted January 6, 2009 I e-mailed my comment and got a reponse back saying the would hold it for review. I flat out told them I'm going to carry weather it's legal or not. Hopefully if enough people comment we can get this law changed.

gauchoand Report post Posted January 7, 2009 Come one this is an important one for all. Even if you carry a rifle. If something is coming at you its a lot easier to get that handgun out than a rifle, muzzleloader, or bow. If a lion were on top of you a even a rifle is no good no matter what caliber. Everyone should leave a comment with AZGFD in support of hunters being able to protect themselves.
