Mog Report post Posted January 3, 2009 Was able to connect on a decent little whitetail on the 30th. The deer were fully rutted up and a blast to watch. This was the best buck we saw and it was a bear to get to him and even more of a bear to get him out. It was all worth it though (at least when the packing out was done). Green scored 99 http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m287/br...pg?t=1230950777 http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m287/br...pg?t=1230950747

Mog Report post Posted January 3, 2009 Thats a nice looking buck.. Were they still down in the bottoms? They were actually all over the place. This one unfortunately was about as high on the mountain as you could get, but we were seeing them low as well. The rut was in full swing. Most bucks had 4-5 does with them, this one only had 1 doe and a smaller 2 point with him.
