Bird Dog Report post Posted December 30, 2008 Nice Geoff! How about some more pics man?
TAM Report post Posted December 30, 2008 I think Hap and Rusty were the first to tree my lion followed by Mike and Roxy. If I'm not mistaken Ruby was a young dog back then and stayed in the dog box that day. Rusty has since passed on and is chasing lions in doggie heaven. Randy sure has a great pack of dogs!!! josh Report post Posted December 31, 2008 That picture of Hap is great! He did the same thing with the lion I took. He was half way up the tree trying to get a piece of that cat. Outstanding. The Michael Jordan of dogs. Lol
TAM Report post Posted January 1, 2009 Yep, he did the same thing with my lion. He was up in the tree just as far as he could climb. Thanks for sharing and bringing back some good memories!
GRONG Report post Posted January 1, 2009 Congrats Geoff Here's a much better pic of Geoff and his lion...... This way you don't have to squint to see his picture. Good 'ol Mike, probably my most favorite dog Dad has ever had. Dad lost him to old age a week or two ago... Mike & Rusty......
bearbait Report post Posted January 1, 2009 Really good looking dogs! Got some real great memories in those four legged friends! Congrats on your cat!
TAM Report post Posted January 1, 2009 Sorry to hear about Mike Isin't he the one that got ahold of a lion once and killed it? That makes two of the four that treed my cat gone now. How long do lion hounds usually live anyway?
Tines Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Okay now you asked for it...... so how did you catch him? Or did you mean killed him Congrats on a great looking lion. In reference to lion hunting with dogs, "caught" is appropriate. Congratulations on your lion. Someday I'll get out and make it happen..
