Jimmer Negamanee Report post Posted January 17, 2009 195k is peanuts to the wealthy. The average worker makes 36k. The average S&P 500 CEO makes over 14.2 million a year (x362 what most people make). So to him, that is 1.36% his annual income. 1.36% for you n me is $489.60 Amen, Brother. It would be great if life was relative. I could go into AZGFD and say "I would like to buy the Governor's Tag for the princely sum of $489.60. You heard me correctly, Sir, four hundred eighty-nine dollars and sixty cents." That would be sweet. If I had the dough, I'd do it. I hope he spends a lot on the guide too. I think it's great. He's helping AZ wildlife and hopefully helping to support a family that makes their living in the outdoors. You can't beat that.
KGAINES Report post Posted January 17, 2009 The funds for these hunts are supposed to be in special accounts that makes it almost impossible for it to be taken by the legislature in their raids. It is a good way to get money for improvements in our big game habitat, now we have the super raffle which we all have a chance to win, and this year the ADA is going to raffle off a Coues deer tag. Coues 'n' Sheep Report post Posted January 20, 2009 Just a reminder that all that money from those tages goes right back to the wildlife in AZ with habitat projects!!!I say 'thank you' to those that buy those tags as the money is well needed in our state for conservation and habitat improvement. cmc If I had the dough, I'd do it. I hope he spends a lot on the guide too. I think it's great. He's helping AZ wildlife and hopefully helping to support a family that makes their living in the outdoors. You can't beat that.
