Ruger2506 Report post Posted February 8, 2005 I see nothing wrong with a early hunt in 23.There are a lot of deer in that area especially coues deer.I am all for it and it wont effect the trophy quality.I was in that area yesterday looking for deer and scouting for next year,I saw 17 deer in one evening all whitetail and there were 4 bucks,1 2 point and three 3 points.one in the 80 inch class and two that were in the 90 inch class.So who ever says there are no deer in 23 is obviously is not using the optics enough.23 is definitely a trophy unit.
