rtkemp Report post Posted December 20, 2008 I plan on using a doe bleat call this January. I have never heard such calls in the wild. Based on experiences, how often have you used a doe in estrus bleat? What frequency have you tried (ie once a minute for 10 minutes)? Is it a sequence like bleat, bleat, pause, bleat again? Do you use the bleat with other does around? Is there a time to not to bleat? Any info would be great?

paul navarre Report post Posted December 22, 2008 A combo of doe bleats and buck grunts is a mean deer calling tech. Does also make doe grunts. I believe there are Whitetail sites that have these vocalizations. Google a few, under Whitetail deer focalizations. I will down in Jan with rattling horns, and a few deer calls as I know they work SOMETIMES IN THE RIGHT CONDITIONS. Good hunting and calling. Paul
