archery javelina

Recommended Posts

Here is a photo of my archery javelina I took this morning, I worked my tail off for this little guy. He will be sausage next week ;) I ended up taking this javelina in unit 36b @ 20yds or so using my Mathews ultra-max.

Great job! :P When can we expect the long story, about how you had to cross the river at the class 5 rapids (in reality it was a stagnat stream <_< ) only to be faced with a shear cliff face that layed between you, and the pig? LOL Once again, great job!

Great job! Sounds like you had a good hunt.

I had some fun watching some javelina today on the way home from Tucson. I spotted them while driving down the highway and pulled over and hiked into them. I didn't have a camera or even binoculars, but it was fun watching them feeding and interacting. Got within 20 yards. Eventually one saw me moving and they left.

Can't wait for my HAM season!

Actually the two arrows with the broadheads out of the quiver I had not shot, I am using Montec G5's this year which are mechanical with no O ring and I could not get them to go in my quiver w/o actuating the blades so even though I know better I had them in there with the "sharp side" out. One of the arrows is a Muzzy 3 blade and the other one that is in there right is the G5 that I shot my pig with.
