Dewayne Report post Posted December 18, 2008 I would like someone to extract a quote from my original post that implies any "negative". (someone is trying to twist my words.) All I asked for was a fair count. Look at it this way. You go and buy a carton of eggs and it's labled "one dozen" but when you get home and find there are only 11 eggs in the carton. You then return the eggs to the market and you are told that the 11 eggs equal the average wieght of a dozen. Would you be happy? Dewayne

Dewayne I think the big difference is that you paid for the dozen eggs and you were told up front it was a dozen eggs. As I mentioned in my previous post, I clearly stated the methods up front. Anyone not liking the methods doesn't have to play. No one is forced to enter this game and there is no fee to play, it's just for fun. This isn't some kind of devious bait and switch plot to defraud you. For those that missed my mentioning of how the count would be done, here is the quote from the very first post in this thread: "The person closest to the number (either high or low) wins. I haven't yet figured if I am going to count each individual bean or get a rough estimate based on weighing a 100 beans or so and figuring it out. But either way, you have to accept the answer I come up with as the one you have to get closest to." Amanda

Thanks, for doing cool stuff like this... most of us would play for the fun of it (braggin' rights), but you go the extra mile and throw really sweet prize in just to make it that much more exciting! Thanks!!!

Take it or leave it. PS. Maybe you would be better buying "egg beaters" when you grocery shop. -Jeremy-

WFGinNM Report post Posted December 18, 2008 Well, after coming to the disturbing conclusion that I can't count. Added to the fact that all the "good" numbers are taken I'm going to have to guess 4775. --Bill
