I need some coordinates

Do any of you guys have the coordinates for the Coke Ovens near the Gila River? I was given directions on where to do some final scouting for Javilina, and was given the Coke Ovens as my starting point. I'm trying to print out a TOPO map of the area, and only want the surounding mountains. The only problem is I accidently erased them off of my GPS Any help would be great

Boy, I wish I could help you. I know where they are, and have spent time there over the years, but I don't know the GPS coordinates. Let me know if you need or want any other tips in 37B though. I grew-up in Kearny, and still try to spend some time out there each fall.....

Thanks anyways. I'm not real familiar with the area, but have been up there since the day we found out we were drawn. But for some reason the guy decidd to give me directions starting at oven #3. When it's all said and done I should be near a mine to the East of them. I think I know where the heck I'm going, but would like to get a topo map showing any saddles that may be between the ovens, and where I'm supose to stop.

I found Coke Ovens on the North Butte 7.5 minute quadrangle map. Aprox.:

12 04 84 547E

36 62 720N

These Coordinates are UTM, NAD27

 

The area you are looking for may be just north and east of their where I show a Red Mountain mine, in which case it could be on the Mineral MT topo.
