curmudgen Report post Posted December 10, 2008 There used to be some good mule deer hunting in the area I think you'll be looking at, but now it's being cut up into ranchettes, or whatever, although access has been blocked to most of it for some time now and will be blocked even more as the development proceeds. Maybe you can negotiate to make it part of your deal that you get access to the Galiuros through that part of the Eureka Springs that's in unit 32. JMP Report post Posted December 10, 2008 actually the road that used to go to high creek cuts over there behind eureka mountain and the black hills and the area gets hammered hard by hunters. during the day time they have the access road open, so you can you can now drive all the way back to paddy's river area from the ranch road. it is a nice place though, i've considered buying in there myself. pretty good prices on land from what i hear. last year we archery hunted there and saw a lot of two and three point muleys, maybe they'll all be grown up this year. peckl1 Report post Posted December 11, 2008 Thanks for the info. It turns out they only have a few parcels left in this phase. The one I looked at is right on Aravaipa Creek.
