yeti-az Report post Posted December 9, 2008 We backpacked a few miles into our hunting area and on the last day of hunting I shot this little 3x3. I was hoping for a better buck but it is a nice buck none the less and very happy with him. A few days before my hunt I purchased a tripod gun mount called "the Claw" and I am so glad I had it. I shot my buck from a very steep hillside and I was shooting uphill. There was no way I could have made the shot laying down or from my bipod. I had a rock solid rest on my tripod with "the Claw" and made a one shot kill at 475 yards. My pack on the way out was super heavy but well worth it.
