Huntaholic Report post Posted December 12, 2008 I was way off with my guess of 121. Good thing you didn't post that pic with him behind the rock the first time or I would have guessed 125. That pic makes him look huge! Awesome buck thanks for sharing!
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted December 12, 2008 I agree, I think you need to have him re-scored! I think he is over 120 for sure. And what I say is ALWAYS right

WFGinNM Report post Posted February 9, 2009 I made the trip to Albuquerque Saturday and had my buck officially scored. I did learn that with irregular points there are definite variables in scoring, but I am freakin' thrilled. He is being entered as a non-typical, grossing 113 7/8" with a net of 112". Now it's time to start looking for a perfect little basket rack. --Bill Talk about calibrated eyeballs.... Tyson and Josh knew it all along. on a side note, the Sitka Blacktail I took in '07 made B&C also.

Kinda currious, your post makes me wonder if they scored that split on the left off of the beam?? It appears to have a common base and would have to be scored off the beam if so..... just currious. Mine was a 101" buck with good bases and a really rusty forehead.... Bet you could buy that off of him or better yet you won't be soory if you have him mount that Bad Boy for you! Thanks for the info on the cape, that is a good looking buck, I checked out your thread on the bowhunting link. I called Clay and left a message about getting a cape, I do my own taxi work.
