cramerhunts Report post Posted December 6, 2008 What an awesome buck! A huge congrats to you and I don't blame you for being in shock. I'm gonna say he's close to 115". Phil
bearbait Report post Posted December 6, 2008 I am DEFINATELY no expert by all means...but the first 2 bucks posted on this site said they went, if I am not mistaken, went 118" and 120 something inches. If that is in fact true, then I would have to say you buck is well within the 115-125" range!! But again, I no NOTHING at all about scouring these bucks without putting my own hands around them my self with a tape measure! But to ME, the score doesn't carry much significance...it's the hunt it's self, with the hunter feeling good about his own harvest! That's what counts!!! tjhunt2 Report post Posted December 6, 2008 One of the nicest deer taken so far this year and there has been some big ones harvested. Congrats, and I could only hope to get something as close as that. Thanks for sharing. No matter what it scores it is a dandy of a buck. TJ

WFGinNM Report post Posted December 6, 2008 Thanks for the kind words, it feels good to be able to add something to the site relevant to coues'. I'm afraid that after this all I can offer is some pictures of elk and elk sheds. Casey, I had thought about getting a lion tag but I've caught my share here in NM and didn't consider interrupting a perfectly good coues' hunt dealing with a big cat. Thanks, --Bill
