n2horns Report post Posted June 5, 2023 I have been using a Tranx 400 HG for bass, Y/T and tuna from top water, fly line, snipers etc.... I pair it up with Phenix SMX-82H and it is really a fun fight. Bass in kelp, rippem out. Tranx 500HG on Phenix PSW-909XHJ for big poppers, irons etc.... and use this for Y/T, dorado and tuna, I have used in the past the Avet SX Raptors on bass and Y/T, use MXL Raptor on larger Y/T and tuna.
