bowsniper Report post Posted December 4, 2008 Guys, According to a source at G&F, as of this morning (Thursday), they had only received 10 emails/phone calls about the baiting issue. 8 were in favor of the ban, 2 were against. We definitely need more calls/emails into G&F voicing opposition against the new rule before tomorrow morning. Please drop everything and call or email Celeste Cook 623-236-7390 ccook@azgfd.gov and voice your opposition. The commissioners will considering this input tomorrow when they decide whether or not to proceed on the new rule. Please do it now!! Mark

coueshunter Report post Posted December 4, 2008 I just spoke with Celeste and to clarify things: AZGFD and the commission are not going to do anything about "banning salt" anytime soon. Tomorrow is a general discussion about potential rule changes. Celeste wanted to make sure everyone knows that nothing will be decided and that the "public opinion" phase of this whole process legally must come out before any rules are changed. This made me feel alot better, I still stated my opinion for the record and am supposed to have a call returned by Wakeling or Mr. Day to discuss the salt issue. ..........Allen........
