If you can stay out a few days at a time you'll earn but these gas prices are biting into that margin. Go Brandon. I've found 3 ways to make $$ at this. 1)Find gold on unclaimed land.like the above pics, claim them for a $225 filing fee and sell fast for 50x that. 2) sell the gold in artwork or in Paydirt bags. Ex. At the recent Wickenburg Gold Rush Days, we sold over 300 bags of Paydirt. They each contained $10-15 worth of gold and sold for $30 each. 3) A way to make money is tutoring those whom want to learn gold recovery. That's my day time job. My Rights As An American Report post Posted April 14, 2023 Spent a summer dredging 70 miles north of Fairbanks back in the 1990s. Was absolutely amazing. Lot of fun but seriously hated work. arizonian Report post Posted April 23, 2023 I got a chance to work on the Bima, an ocean going dredge based in Nome, AK back in '90-91. That dredge delivered some gold. I can't imagine the.ammount of maintenance it took to keep something like that operating. Even in the simplest mining endeavor is plagued with breakdowns, interruptions and failure. Thanks for sharing. I made it to Nome twice on catchers. The company managers were so scared of crews jumping ship that only trusted veteran employees were allowed in town. I spent 4 weeks anchored off shore and only a few hours in town. Would have gladly traded my.position as crane operator to dredge in Nome. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
