CouesFanatic Report post Posted April 12, 2023 Last fall they said we were in for a dry winter. I don't trust anything these weather guys say. I'll believe it when it happens. 10

Don't know they but I posted nasa pics of a powerful winter vortex forming early in fall. Forecast was for a wet cold winter. I was scoffed at.

Coues247 Report post Posted April 13, 2023 Thank goodness Phoenix isn't the only place in AZ. . . and it was still just barely below average there. Significantly above average in most places.

I think there was either near or broken records as far as moisture goes.
AZHOUND Report post Posted April 13, 2023 AZ weather force on Facebook seems to be about as good a forecast you will find. He called for a wet winter very early when the dry La Niña was all the talk. He does a good job during the monsoon calling the significant storms. Definitely worth a follow.

Hunterjohnny Report post Posted April 13, 2023 In Mesa we got a storm that ripped my roof off, followed by rain every couple days to make an inside rain forest. Seemed wetter to me!
HuntHarder Report post Posted April 13, 2023 The wind was real bad last year, not a crazy amount of rain tho.
