This is something we have been talking about doing for a few years. I am a little unsure about loading up all of my hunting gear and setting off down the river. My buddy just got one on sale at Tractor Supply for $279.99 on sale.

Look for the sit in Accend's from Basspro. I have a couple and they are super stable and can haul 300 pounds. Mine are 10 feet.

I had an Ascend FS12T. It is a sit on top model.  Super stable.  I could pull myself up out of the water on the side without tipping it.  Could stand up and bowfish off it.  Allways talked about floating the Verde for coues in 21 or 22.  Water flow rate was never cooperative during season.  I have played around with some of the cheap tractor supply and Walmart kayaks.  No way I would trust my gear or life to one of those on a river.  Maybe hunting some deep coves on a smooth lake but not a river!
