Shawn Elk Report post Posted April 23, 2023 Louie, how many points did it take you to draw? Are you an Arizona resident or non resident? I also drew this same hunt this year (December 2023). I’m hoping someone with experience in this zone can give an idea of what to expect… should we shoot the first rag horn bull we see? Should we hold out for a better bull? Should we shoot the first cow we see? Anyone have private landowners who provide access for a fee? If so, what ranches and I can google to find the rest. I’m hunting the zone from out of state. Any ideas on hotels near the “public portion “ of the zone? (based on on x, I’m thinking somewhere in the south west corner of the zone…) Last, is there a guide ppl recommend for that unit, or is it so easily accessible, no guide would work it?
