Distance Report post Posted December 4, 2008 Just got back. My buddy took down a small 3x3. We hunted the back side of mildred peak and around there. We glassed up 100+ doe in 4 days and shot the only buck we saw: We glassed for 9 hours on Monday with no bucks to fill my tag...I'd of taken a spike. There were a few that were too far away to tell if they were spikes or does and a couple who got the jump on us and were over the hill before we could identify them. I've seen pics of some toads pulled out of there, but that wasn't my experience. Probably will hunt 36b next year. I ran into a dude on a quad who said he glassed up a big one south of where we were, but another hunter had already started a stalk on it.
