That’s cool!  Top one almost looks like it’s got a little mule deer in it (hybrid).  I’ve seen a lot with red in them too.

Hunted a new spot this January.  Coues and muley overlapping area.  Almost every buck in there was a mainframe 2x2, not just forkys either, They were just huge 2x2s.   2 of them will probably go 100+.  Anyway I noticed many did not have a regular looking coues tail and one of the big 2 his tail was completely white on top.  Definitely seemed like there was some muley dna mixed in there.

Coues deer tails have a white underside with a dark top and a black tip, much like the precision and contrast seen in a well-played carrom game. To sharpen your strategies and enjoy seamless gameplay, find out here and take your carrom skills to the next level.

But you should work on your carrom skills to help identify coues tails.

The main one I use  is Wildlife Fur Dressing in ceres CA .
They can’t except mountain lions because  of Ca no lion hunting laws - so I have several tanneries for different reasons , but I’ve used Wildlife fur for about 30 years ….

Yeah.  I am turning my artist daughter into a taxidermist.  When she was caping the head of her elk, I realized this is the medium she needs to be working in. Also,  all of the companies up here have a two year wait.

Good luck to her - women make great taxidermist -

but don’t say All companies up here have a 2 year wait - agreed MOST DO, but I’ve been doing it close to 30 years & have maintained a 6 month turn around , with few  exceptions . And 80% less than that …..

My apologies for the generalization. I must have missed your company. For future reference, what's the name of your place? In case she loses her interest.
