“Howage” rebarrel

I have a 300 prc howa 1500 that I want to rebarrel with a carbon fiber 7 prc barrel. Is it as easy as it looks in the videos with just a vice, gauges and a barrel wrench and torque wrench? Anyone have this done by a local gunsmith and cost to complete (I’ll supply barrel and barrel nut).

Not sure about the Howa but I have done a few Savage barrel swaps and its extremely easy.

If u buy a prefit with a nut it’s easy like a savage, diy. Howas are on tight, might need relief cut to get it off. 
 

if not a prefit, it needs metric threads cut and done by a pro to get it right. Not diy

Same as a Savage but when you're done you're not left with a Savage

Howa barrels are very tight I am told. The head smith at Axisworks who took the barreling my Howa said he has basically had to relief cut every one he has had to get off.
