DesertBull Report post Posted November 28, 2008 The bachelor herd of 3 bucks I have been watching since June have broken up. I got one on camera, by himself, 4 or 5 times over the last 3 weeks. Then, today, I got a pic of one of the the other bucks, with a doe.
Snapshot Report post Posted November 28, 2008 Maybe this cooler wet weather will get them spunky a little earlier. I can't hunt again until January, but am looking forward to some archery rut hunting if time allows.

COUESAZ Report post Posted December 2, 2008 The buck i shot a couple days ago was with a few does. There was a bigger buck that joined them later that morning. But the younger one was the dumber one so now there is only one buck with those does. I think there were more lions and way more coyotes in the area than deer. azcouesandelk Report post Posted December 2, 2008 I have been seeing some bucks with does but still mostly bachelor groups of 2 or 3 bucks. I still think we are going to see the normal rutting activity starting in early to mid January but you can always hope!
