lionhunter Report post Posted November 27, 2008 I just purchased a Weatherby Vanguard Sub MOA. I took it into get bore sighted with my scope and the Leupold bases did not line up at the same elevation. As a result they could not bore sight my scope (it ran our of vertical adjustment). The guy at Sportsman's Wherehouse said that he has seen that problem before with Wetherbys. Have any of you heard of this as a problem??????? Any help would be appreciated. Flash Report post Posted November 27, 2008 I haven't heard of that with a Vanguard, but have heard and experienced many issues with bases that were suppose to work and din't work on a rifle for what ever reason. Weatherby makes a base/ring set for the Vanguard and is the way to go for your rifle. No complaints with my Vanguard.
