Traveler Report post Posted November 27, 2008 I am buying a 22.250. My son really enjoys shooting my .17HMR and is a little recoil sensitive. So I am looking to get one of the Howa / Weatherby Vanguard rifles that I can put a youth stock on. I would like something with up to at least 14x magnification. I am looking to spend up to 5 or $600 for the scope if I need to.
