IDAZONA Report post Posted February 13, 2023 I had myself convinced I needed a 6.5 PRC, then did a little more research. It looks like the 6.5 PRC is pretty comparable to a .270 WSM. I have an accurate Winchester model 70 extreme weather in .270 WSM that has been shuffled to the back of the safe. New plan is to give this rifle a tune up. shoe Report post Posted February 19, 2023 FWIW that Model 70 is most likely a 1-10" twist. If so that might limit your bullet choices. Especially if you hoped to shoot heavy for caliber bullets like is common with the 6.5 prc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
