Good year for bucks

Is it just me or is this just a great year for bucks! With all of the pictures posted on this and ASJ, this years hunts have been impressive. I hope we get another year of good rain in 09.

I feel the same. Some good bucks taken by guys, gals, and the youth hunters as well.

 

Some good winter and spring rains would be a huge boost to our deer herds, the summer rains are great for feed and horn growth.

with only 2 posts I would say it is just you. We see the same thing every year.

I think a little of both, maybe about the same numer of great racks but with a few more folks sharing the wealth on-line.

I am torn between this also.

 

I have been on a couple of hunts. We have not seen a ton of small bucks.

My camp this year went 7 outa 8...I would say It's been a good year.

VEGASJEEP, I know I only have two posts, but I have be coming to this and other sites for several years. It seems to me more hunters have been succesful and that the antler growth this year has exceeded that of the last several years. This is perhaps subjective and as another posted said maybe because more people are sharing their stories and pics on line than before.

There seems to be some great bucks this year but like vegas jeep said we say this every year.
