Hiker Report post Posted November 22, 2008 My son and I are headed to Unit 17 for his youth deer hunt. This will be his first deer hunt in which he carries a rifle. I have talked to a few guys and have studied the maps quite a bit but it seems as if the deer, especially bucks are few and far between. Any suggestions for us?
