We were up there that weekend too. Had a hard time finding a spot firm enough to park the trailer it was so muddy with water running through every dip in the road and still snow in spots on the way to Whitehorse. It was awesome! GreyGhost85 Report post Posted May 17, 2023 Took a boat from roosevelt way up the salt last weekend to do some flatheading and there is a LOT if water. You could probably take a boat dang near all the way to the diversion dam

With some exception of pump back on Salt-Canyon-Apache, Horseshoe, Bartlett and Roosevelt are all within 1 foot elevation of full water conservation storage. Anyone in the know on Gilbert Rd reopening?

Anyone in the know ... know when they shut it off and what they left the levels at ? It has been shut off for almost a week. Where it crosses McKellips Rd east of Alma School the water has receded and the road is dry. It needs to be swept and cleaned up and then the road can be reopened. I was surprised they didn't do it yesterday as it was still barricaded off as of 5AM today.

GreyGhost85 Report post Posted May 17, 2023 Fishing wasn’t great but caught one pretty good flathead and a 12lb channel cat. It’s running pretty fast and wide so it’s tough to keep your bait where it needs to be. 11
