firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted November 16, 2008 Ultramag and I were out this weekend looking for deer. Found a nice water hole about a mile in/up that isnt on the map. We were moving positions when I see something moving in a cut.. Immediately I think it is either a javelina or a bobcat.. I see it again.. BOBCAT!!! Out comes the .257 down on a knee I go. There it is. I miss on the first shot at about 115. I put another one in and on the second shot at 120 I SMOKE this cat. Go down to him and he is one big, very good looking male! firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted November 16, 2008 Nice! what are youing going to do with the skin? That big tom had a rather nice coat. The .257 with the 115 VLD left a nice hole in him, but nothing that cant be fixed. Scottyboy and I will be treating him, and sending him to the tannery. I can not afford a life size mount like I would like to do (roughly $1500-$1700). If any one wants to donate, I do accept Paypal
