We have been approached by Astra Optix who has already sent me their 10x42 Rangefinder Binocular which sells for only $499.99. I was curious, with no hopes of it being decent, when they offered to send it to me to check out, but shockingly the optics are way better than I expected and the LCD rangefinder is basic but does the job. Is this the greatest, absolutely not, however, a good quality 10x42 rangefinding binocular for only $499.99 is a great option for many people. I have set up a meeting with them to see what's what.
