10Turkeys Report post Posted January 4, 2023 Probably what Lucafu1 said. Have you shot any factory .260 brass in that rifle? If you have take a caliper and measure the outside of the neck. That will be your chamber neck diameter, next measure the loaded necked down ammo that you have around the neck. If you haven't fired any .260 brass, use the neck diameter off from that Hornady case, since it will chamber. That LC brass is typically thicker than factory brass. Bullets might be seated long, and or brass to long. How far will the bolt get before you have trouble closing it? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
