Tines Report post Posted November 14, 2008 Not to get too technical, it's an idler wheel, not a single cam in the add... I know what you're thinking, I was 1/2 joking. I don't shoot a Mathews but I sure don't think they'll be creating a cam & 1/2 set-up. Something tells me they've done quite well with their single cam. Besides, if speed is really that big of a deal, the X-Force didn't do too bad as a single cam. Not so much inferior or unattainable in a single cam if you ask me..... crazy4COUES Report post Posted November 17, 2008 Ed, Matt McPherson have been trying to find the best avenue to market a two cam bow for awhile. I hope they do step outside of thier own motto. It will show some BALLS to market a faster two cam bow than any others AND go against the keyword that has made them millions.
DesertBull Report post Posted November 17, 2008 I am wonder why they didn't branch out with a different sub-line of bows like the other MFG's have done. They could have kept all of the 1 cams under the Mathews lable and expanded into 2 camss under a different name. PSE - AR Hoyt - Reflex Bowtech - Diamond

JMP Report post Posted November 18, 2008 two cams and an 80# limb. speed may be overrated, but kinetic energy is not. and if you only get one shot on an animal, i'd prefer the energy for a pass through.
Coues Sniper Report post Posted November 18, 2008 Did you notice the Monster XLR8 has a brace height of only 5"??? No wonder they got 360 out of it. Thanks but no thanks.

You could pass through a armored car with that setup!

HEADACHE Report post Posted November 19, 2008 Marketing UGH! The new "Reezen" . . . like you have a lot of "reason"s to buy this bow. . . 335fps in the 7.0 and 340fps in the 6.5 (brace-heights) Nice marketing. . . my old Ultra-2 shoots 325 already, but it doens't have a grub, or roller guard, or the built in string silencers. . . waaaaa for 869 bucks, I will stick with my old ultra-2 ha ha ha And the monster . . . ooooooh sweet a dualie with AVS, system now made under his old McPhearson company name. . . its not "really a mathews" shooting at 360fps . . . . hhmmmmm which one of my kids do I have to sell. . . . .
