I like shooting the rifle more than my 25 ought 6 rem 700 mountain. Most of that I feel is because of that break.

Comparatively to a 300 wm rem 700 BDL that's very similar to the 25 ought 6 in build, it feels unusable after shooting this 300 PRC with the break.

I won't build/ buy another barrel that's not threaded. I won't regularly shoot a rifle without a suppressor or a break from area 419. You can't really go back.

I can't compare this break to other magnum breaks as this is the only one I have tried that wasn't built into the barrel.

If it wasn't for the fact that I have to justify my titanium suppressor purchasing somehow, the break wouldn't be included.

How well did the PRC's group at 100yrds?

Better than I can shoot.

The Bergara barrel guarantee Is sub MOA at 100 yards with 3 shot group.

I verified that and didn't check it since. People on here with more experience shooting could probably tighten that up but I'm not that guy so I can't put my word on that. I'm not a fan of lead sleds so I always assume I'm the weak point and focus on training.

After that initial check, I re-zeroed my scope to 200 yards. Most practicing was done on steel between 500-1200 yards.

Are you willing to separate the muzzle break?

Yes. I can do $170 for the sidewinder brake.

Is the thread pitch 5/8 ?

The thread pitch on the universal adapter that i can give you with the brake is 5/8-24".

The muzzle brake itself mounts to that. So you can also buy his other adapters for other threads if you want to move it between rifles.
