CarlaEYager Report post Posted November 29, 2022 I'm looking at trying a chest holster for my sidearm for bear hunting. Wearing a hip holster poses two problems, excess pressure on my hip cause by waist belt of pack and lack of quick accessibility because of waist belt on my pack. So I am looking for a good quality chest holster. Anyone have any experience with this?

anythingwithantlers Report post Posted November 29, 2022 Razco makes holsters that attach directly to FHF Gear bino harnesses. Best system I've found.
Couzer Report post Posted November 29, 2022 I bought a Alaskan from Sportsmans years ago, all synthetic. It's what I use for my 357 when bear hunting
oz31p Report post Posted November 29, 2022 El Paso saddlery made me a tanker holster for a 1911 years ago that is still my favorite https://epsaddlery.com/product/1942-tanker-holster-3-to-5-barrels/
WHT_MTNMAN Report post Posted November 29, 2022 I really like the Kenai chest holster from gunfightersinc. I use mine mostly in AK when I'm worried about big bears. I don't like leather for a chest rig, too hot and gets ruined etc
MasonGeorge Report post Posted June 7 You can either look at Diamond D like az41mg suggested or you can look at mybakersfieldrealtor. Both credible and reliable.
