denny Report post Posted November 8, 2008 went out this morning scouting for my mule deer hunt saw about 3 diffrent herds of does about 6 in each, but still cant seem to find any bucks. we were out near batomote rd. i also saw alot of guys hunting whitetail in what seemed to me as mule deer country im sure the mule deer hunt was last week? peckl1 Report post Posted November 9, 2008 Denny, I have the same hunt. I went out yesterday and setup my tent. I'll be out there a little later today to finish setting up my camp. It takes a couple of trips out to get it all out there. My camp is just a little north of the Penitas Hills. Stop by if you see my truck Chevy Z71. Green Cabelas lodge pole tent. I can give you some advice on where the bucks are. Just not the bucks I have picked out for my brother and I. Boy wasn't that an egotistical statement.
