briant_az Report post Posted October 25, 2022 If anyone shoots a mature WT this year and doesn't want the cape, I will do a free euro mount of your buck for the cape. I offer this every year so please don't hesitate to call or text me if you ever have one. Only thing is, it has to be a mature buck, and in good condition. Good luck to all of you! www.hdskulls.com My phone number is on the website Brian Also here is a little video of a shoulder mount that was just finished with a cape I traded for last year IMG_4510.MOV

Big Browns Report post Posted October 26, 2022 I would add going to the last rip ensures the taxidermist has plenty of cape.
AZbowhntr Report post Posted October 26, 2022 Brian, are you doing any mounts or just euros? I still haven't had the one I shot with you guys down there mounted yet. But have been thinking about it lately. I didn't bring the cape back so I would need one. I hope everyone is doing well. Are you guys going down again this coming January? We are doing shoulder mounts as well now. I'll have to look to make sure, but I don't think I have any capes left right now. If I can trade or buy one from someone, we could get you squared away. Or if you are able to finds one let me know. I just quit at Ronning to try and do taxidermy full time. Thursday is my last day. Everyone here is good though. They're all going down to MX again this year. Michael has a couple of ranches and has been selling DIY tags on that ranch we hunted. If you still have my number text me and I can send you some pictures. My wife is actually the one that is doing the shoulder mounts and has done an awesome job. If you ever stop by the office she has done about 5 deer now for Michael. I think we still have 4 more to do already! Hope you are doing well!

Is that necessary or can you cut up the leg Sean to the body cut?
Big Browns Report post Posted October 27, 2022 I prefer the upper leg to be tubed
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted October 27, 2022 28 nosler, 180 hybrid, 138 yards a little low and forward doesn't leave much left for a cape!
