Hancock7WSM Report post Posted November 6, 2008 I was wondering if anyone has used the Outdoorsman Dual Mount or one similar to it? I hate to fork out the money not knowing much about it. I have the outdoorsman head and tripod and am very happy with. The quaility of the outdoorsman products is second to none in my opinion so i dont think i could go wrong with the dual mount but would just like to get any feedback aboout it. Thanks
mattobertin Report post Posted November 6, 2008 I have a manfrotto tripod and built my own dual mount with quick disconnects. Works great and cost about $50. I'm sure the outdoorsman mount is nice but there are other routes.....
cjw2222 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 We got my uncle that adapter for Christmas and all i can say is WOW!! Yes the price is very high but it is such a joy to use on coues hunts when we glass for 9 hours a day. It makes life so much easier and allows for quick glancing from either set of eyes. For anyone that has ever lost a buck while trying to throw on the spotter, you know it is frustrating. this thing virtually eliminates that. If you can afford it i highly recommend it and anything from Outdoorsmans, they stand behind their product like no one ive ever met Definitely one of the coolest contraptions i could carry in the field, just gotta get the spotter first
