The class should really be 16 hours of law and then a pistol compentency test. I've been through the class twice and between idiots giving the course and morons taking it both were a real chit show with misinformation by the instructors and students thinking they can shoot people for the most ridiculous reasons under some absurd scenarios. When I took it several years ago it was almost all law. And a lot of good scenario discussions encouraging folks to think about how you’d handle different situations. The “call 911 first and say you’re in fear for your life so it’s all recorded” was taught too…that must be common. I keep mine current to make the purchasing process easier. FFL transfers are much quicker.

I'm not sure about the ID but it is doubtful as it isn't shown as an acceptable form of ID that I have seen. they dont see on terminal, they see it when I show it to them with my license when pulled over, not that i get pulled over all the time. most importantly is the chicks dig it!!!! With a Benjamin tucked in between them? I don't see any reason/benefit to letting one of them know I'm even a gun owner. Yes Sir/No Sir. See ya later.
