After you've mailed your dues to the NRA, SCI and whatever, call the Republican Party headquarters in your county and ask to be added to its list of volunteers. Obama won because he was well-financed, totally organized and had hundreds of thousands of people working (for free) for him.

 

Obama is in for the next four years, and there is nothing we can do about it, but there's another election in 2010. We need to keep Arizona a red state. Don't think we can not lose it here. New Mexico, Colorado, Oregon and Washington State are all big hunting states, and their electorial votes went to Obama yesterday.

Re-upped in NRA, Volunteered with party and just have to trust that God has the plan. I noticed air and missile strikes in and around Israel today. I would not be surprised if Israel does not take pre-emptive actions before BO is the one they have to deal with. Stock market down about 500 today after the election news. europe is happy BO is the man, Why? because they overwhelmingly want a weaker US.

This sucks, but it could be and likely will get worse before it gets better.

 

My day of mourning was today, now we move on, without riots and with respect for the country but not neccesarily the man.

 

I've read a lot and listened to pundits and friends and aquaintances today about this mess and there is no easy way out for at least 4 years and likely more like 8 years. short of BO being more like JFK than he would like to be, and biden filling the slot or Pelosi EEEK we are just plain hosed. This election was bought in one fashion or another. Promises made, huge sums of money spend, and the mainstream media openly supporting and favoring a candidate.

 

The lines of fiscal Party politics have merged under the weak leadership of Bush. He frankly has used up every ounce of goodwill by spending money like a drunken sailor on leave. He held veto power but never used it. Ok, maybe 1 time?. The republicans are supposed to be the fiscal conservatives but there is no difference at the federal level in actions taken under Bush. Talk is cheap and that's all that's cheap..

 

The Republican party MUST re-build at the core value level and walk the talk. Without that change the Obamessiah is going to have more than half of the population lined up to get their share of the wealth he is spreading from others. Think about that typical Obamaiac in florida who said she was extatic because she would not have to worry about her mortgage or putting gas in her car cause she is helping him getting him elected so he is going to help her. Koolaid tasted too good for the weak minded and lazy populous.

 

I pray for the country and our servicemen who are now going to be pulled home in defeat by this man. I pray for the country as we almost certainly will be disarming our own country and inviting terrorists here to help this man tear us down.

 

Getting some Handguns soon to beat the ban and lots of ammo on hand but never can have too much I guess.

You know AZ4LIFE said people were drinking the BO coolaid, and he could not be more right. I was speeking to one of my frinds yesterday that is a life long hunter. To my dismay he told me he voted for Obama.

 

I asked why, he gave the answer most people do that are not paying attention saying that republicans like McCain have messed things up enoughf and we need change.

 

My first question to him was well what kind of change is BO gonna bring. To that he replyed "oh I dont know just somthing diffrent than we are doing now".

 

Shocked I asked him well what about our gun rights, and to that he answred "well the way I see it he will be so busy with everything else he wont have time to get to our guns".

 

WOW after a reply like that I did not feel I should even waste my breath trying to explain to him that he have a Demacrat controled house and senate and all BO has to do is sign any gun ban they put infront of him.

 

The bottom line is that people just listen to the flashy talk hallow promises that I will make your life better and thay blindly believe it. Like AZ4LIFE said they drink the coolaid. The problem is they dont even know what flavor they are getting!!!!!

only good thing about this crap is that maybe our governor will pack all his crap and move to dc. then at least maybe we can get our state back. the nra and sci are ok deals to join, but they are lobbiests. they sway some vote in places and states that agree with them. it won't hurt to donate to them for sure, but where things have to change is in the gov't. i belong to the nra, but i'm still real pissed at them and sci for siding with uso in the big lawsuit a few years ago. heck even the republicans are liberals anymore. everybody is afraid to offend anyone. screw em, if they act like jerks, treat em accordingly. first thing that has to take place is Az. has to get an asskicker for governor. somebody that will seal the border, enforce all the laws, tell crybaby special interests to go to heck and get this state back where it should be. we don't need anymore money spent on teaching kids english, we don't need to waste anymore money on global warming (did you see that alaskan glaciers actually grew last year?), we need to build up our industries, make everybody get a job and earn their way, stop all the whinin' about health care, fire crummy school teachers and administrators, and get back to real live work and makin' an honest living. then we can work on dc. if you are afraid of what these creeps are gonna do to gun laws and hunting, wait till they get ahold of your 401k, like they will do here shortly, and turn the constitution into a relic to be put in a museum. the president is powerless if the house and senate want him to be. that's where the change has to be made. we are a democratically elected republic. that means we vote for guys be our representative. they have our proxy in dc. those are the guys that hafta go first. but with what this last election showed me is that there are a majority of folks who don't want to work and want the gov't to take money away from those who do and give it to them. i don't really know what to say, other that i'm afraid America maybe died 2 days ago. at least the America i've always known. she dang sure had a hard attack and ain't doin to well right now. there were a few positive things that did happen. arpaio got relected and the propostions either passed or didn't in the way i wanted them to. and maybe we'll get rid o' that jackass governor. If you don't know about this plan, the Libs want to "restore" the amount you had in your 401k to levels before the last crash.

Then they take over the money and They promise to pay you 3% return guaranteed on your money.

Here is the part you don't know about...

Since the social security fund is about bust, they will use your money to pay SS recipients now. You also lose tax benefits of deferred payout$ as your contributions are taxed (and severely limited in $ amount) , you lose employer matching benefits that some of us have, probably a lot of other things no one know yet. and all this for a guaranteed 3% return. Dang, Sign me up right now! NOT!!!

 

Let your Senators and Reps know this plan is a pig in a poke and you are not standing for it!

I am taking steps to move my 401k from a previous job to an ira today so I hopefully can avoid this cash grap scheme by the government a bit longer.

 

Its like they are holding out a big round bright red whole apple where there was a half eaten apple a few days ago and making you think it is a good thing.

Then when you go to take a bite (when you retire), it is smaller and there are 100 worms inside and all you have left is the bright shiney red skin.
